Pharos is a silicone based track lighting system that can be removed from its charging base to act like a flash light. Pharos was designed to make lighting more accessible than traditionally fixed lighting fixtures. Scroll down to see the design the process book.

In a world where everything has become mobilized, why does our lighting remain fixed? The name fixture defines and limits how we think about household lighting design. This project is an attempt to challenge what is considered the standard for lighting fixtures. I will be focusing on using universal design principles to image the future of home lighting.
